OSX 951 - OSHA 501 - Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General IndustryThis course is designed for individuals interested in teaching the 10- and 30-hour General Industry Outreach 培训 Program. Using OSHA General Industry Standards as a guide, this course places special emphasis on topics which are most hazardous.

This course allows the student to become a trainer in the OSHA Outreach 培训 Program, to conduct both 10- and 30-hour General Industry Outreach classes. Students who wish to participate as authorized Outreach trainers 必须 prepare a presentation on an assigned topic, and successfully pass a written exam at the end of the course.

Individuals responsible for overseeing safety on general industry projects such as: hospitals, 军事设施, 高速公路, 联邦大楼, 城市, 学区, 港口, 炼油厂, 还有很多其他项目. Participants in this course 必须 have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Power Point to prepare a presentation.

  • 学生必须成功完成 OSHA 511: Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry and have five (5) years of safety and health work experience in general industry. If this course was not completed at 基督教社会联盟DH, please submit to the OSHA Dropbox a certificate of completion or an official transcript showing successful completion of the OSHA 511 course from their respective OSHA 培训 Institute Education Center. 
  • A degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation may be substituted for two (2) years of work related experience.
  • Students should obtain guidance on whether they meet this requirement from the OSHA 培训 Institute Education Center where they intend to receive the training.
  • Authorized OSHA General Industry Outreach 培训 Program trainers are required to attend OSHA 503: Update for General Industry Outreach 培训师 at least once every four (4) years to maintain their trainer status.

课程长度: 4天
推荐材料: 钢笔，铅笔，荧光笔和书写本. It is recommended that each student have a laptop/tablet for use in preparing presentations.

 

 注册资格

Students who wish to participate in OSHA–numbered courses in the online synchronous video conferencing format 必须 have a valid physical address in Region 9 (CA, NV, HI, AZ, 关岛, 及美属萨摩亚), or obtain permission from their local OTIEC to attend a class outside their home region.

Other 基督教社会联盟DH OTIEC courses can be taken by anyone (no residency required).

  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Access to computer or laptop (*no phone); one student per device
  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth
  • A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in
  • Stand-alone webcam with a 10ft USB cord is required for OSHA 500, 501, 510 and 511 testing
